Can’t use BlueSky directly because of issues such as moderation or verification? Luckily, it’s implemented with the AT Protocol, which means you can login through another fork site such as WitchSky and can still browse BlueSky user posts from the alt sites!

Examples of alt BlueSky-friendly clients include (updated August 4th 2026):

• BlackSky
• WitchSky
• Deer
• NorthSky
• Mu.social (*follows EU law; while they DO ask for 18+ confirmation with a button, they DON'T do ID/Biometrics)

I would also highly recommend that if you already have a BlueSky account, then you should change your PDS (personal data server) to a non-BlueSky host. Here's some methods:

• EU-Haul (also let's you download your data backup + gives you rotary recovery key)
• Domain Invite (Example: NorthSky, can take some days, so check your email)
• Computer Terminal Migration (Requires some understanding on how to code with the terminal + download extensions)
