I bought this table and another one exactly the same from one of the local auctionhouses for $11 together. It was one of the last moments of fun I had out of the house before the first COVID case was reported in my county. I spent my entire spring in quarantine during the first state lockdown, and to pass the time, I worked on this table.

Being a huge fan of the Hazbin Hotel pilot at the time, I really wanted the fanart to focus on the main cast.* (*Sir Pentious is not in it because he didn't join the hotel in the pilot, sorry!) Earlier that year, I hd learned how to woodstain. I had my dad help sand the top of the table. To get rid of the existing finish, then had the legs and side trim repainted dark grey, and then I spent a whole month illustrating the concept art and then painted and sealed the table top.

Because I had used an oil-based seal, the coloring overtime starting to yellow out, but I still keep my table by my bedside!
