FizzaLynn ~ My One and Only

This piece was made for two reasons:

1: My adieu to season 1-era Fizz.

While he DID technically appear in the S2 premiere as a child in a flashback episode, Oops was the first of the season to finally have present-day adult Fizz appear again. Oops and Mammon's Magnificent Musical were both Fizzarolli's own starring episodes back to back that released in 2023 and not only gave him a ton of characterization, but also debunked his cruel mischievous stage persona in S1 by revealing in S2 off-stage that Fizz is actually a soft cutie.

2: Expressing gratitude during a rocky 2023.

Before the end of January, I had fainted for the first time. Then in February when I had my first wisdom teeth surgery, I had fainted multiple times; both during surgery and at home in bed. Then in March when I had my second mouth surgery, I had permanent lingual nerve damage that resulted in losing half my sense of taste. By April, I (almost) had another faint episode, yet still had the symptoms that attributed to an upcoming episode. Over the summer, I was attending medical appointments every single week. Meanwhile, I couldn't find any care to fix the nerve damage in my mouth. While my appointments grew slowly fewer for the remainder of the year, my frustration and panic grew. Not only because of the medical/dental stuff, but other personal situations and events that were also happening in my life.

Although I have mixed feelings about 2023, there were many huge positive memories involving Fizzarolli that helped me stay strong. The S2 episodes I mentioned were a big part of it, but other huge deals like getting a fanmade comfort box for Valentine's Day, more character letters, buying multiple audio shoutouts from Fizzarolli's official voice actor Alex Brightman (who later acknoledged me in a livestream and once showed up in my DMs), drawing and commissioning more FizzaLynn art, participating in Fizzarolli Week, getting lots of more merch for my shrine, and baking and decorating a Fizzarolli cake for my birthday.

Moments like these are reminders of why I fell in love for Fizzarolli in the first place, which also led me to embrace fictosexuality that same year while still being demisexual.
