MY VERY FIRST FIZZAROLLI FANART!!!

I was going through so much in my life last year that took away both my time and motivation to draw. Among the constant shit that was going on was looking for new homes and moving out of state during Covid (out of my control), balancing between that and attending my final semester of college online, dealing with homesickness, and drifting away from someone I've known for many years who I eventually had to accept was emotionally manipulative and a huge asshole.

Then enter Helluva Boss EP7, and I found my brand new muse with Fizzarolli. Fizzarolli didn't turn out to be a short-lived fictional crush. Not only am I still a huge fan, but he literally SAVED ME as an artist. I was hurting a lot throughout 2021 because I had so many things going on that discouraged me from drawing. Few things finally turned things around me; even though it took almost the whole year to see that change. Fizzarolli was one of the biggest ones, as he helped me get back into making full digital art pieces and gave me the push to draw a lot more in 2022 after my annus horribilis. It was also because of Fizz I began working on detaching myself from my long-time idol and also slowly start my own version of house-renovating in my art room and eventually other rooms.

For the artwork itself; I wanted to draw Fizzarolli on the pole from Ozzie's, because it was one of the most memorable shots of him in that episode. The venue has many different lighting color schemes, so I went with pink instead of Fizzarolli's entrance green, because I liked it more. For the background pattern, I had to create my own pattern in ClipStudio and play around with the sizing until it was just right. I was VERY proud of my art back then. Not only for dabbing into the pattern, but for how I somehow managed to pull off a complicated pose with Fizzarolli after being away from doing any complex drawing for so long.
